Nigerian, award winning artist, singer/songwriter, producer, promoter, and event manager, Nivai Nduka, aka Afrikan Simba, is based in London.
Having worked with top sound systems and bands (most prominently his own Moa Anbessa band) in UK, NIG, JA, ET, South America Brazil & Europe. He has recorded for many labels and owns his own label Ayamba Records.
He has toured and performed in Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, Israel, Nigeria, Ethiopia, Jamaica, Grenada, and most of Europe.Afrikan Simba is an artiste who has a universal message with a global appeal and a worldwide fanbase.
He is the curator of the GOODLY WORDS WINTER FEST, which ran for nine consecutive years in London, UK. He has a BA Hons (2:1) in Content Creation for Broadcasting and New Media & a PGCE.He professionally managed a licensed community radio station, Voice of Africa Radio in London, and as a Media teacher/ lecturer, has taught Ordinary and Advanced Levels GCSE, BTEC and GNVQ at Westminster Kingsway College & Harlow College respectively in the UK.As an Entrepreneur, who ran the Drum Beat Community Group and Retail Outlet in London UK for 24yrs, he is experienced in the importation, wholesale, retail, and distribution of food products, especially perishable items.
He has played the role of manager, Figurehead and Spokesperson in his community, and many other projects, such as the now defunct African Language School and the ongoing Reggae Exhibition/Museum, to mention a few. He is an Executive Director of APFAC (the African Peace Festival of Arts and Culture), an Africentric NGO, which plans to hold their debut African Peace Festival of Arts and Culture in Harare, Zimbabwe in December 2024.Afrikan Simba, as he’s popularly referred to on and of industry circles, 100% shares in the vision and beliefs of Diaspora Africa Konnect in the transformation and development of the continent.
